My children's grandfather often has to work on Sundays and he and they miss out on seeing each other. At a time when we are questioning the breakdown of society and what can be done to reverse the growing trend of family breakdown we need to consider factors such as this. Radio Kent carried out a ...I whole heartedly agree. Radio Kent carried out a voxpop survey on the streets of Maidstone on this very issue a week or so ago. Of the 10 people they spoke too, only one was in favour of 7 day a week trading. Those against had different reasons for it, not that many being religious objections.
